Early Childhood Ministry (E.C.M.)

All coordinators and teachers in Children's Ministry are required to go through a screening process and Child Protection In-service Training. See our Child Protection Policy for more information.

 

 

 

Early Childhood Ministry Back to Top

    

  Our Early Childhood Ministry (E.C.M.) ministers to parents and children from birth to age five. Qualified teachers and helpers are dedicated to helping parents lay the foundation for Christian character which will come to completion in later years. Classes and services are provided during our 9:30 a.m. Sunday School hour and during our 10:40 a.m. Morning Worship.

 

 

Barb Hunter (pictured left) has a love for infants and young children. Barb is our new coordinator for the Early Childhood ministry here at First Church. She takes a great interest in the safety and teaching of our young children.

 

 

 

 

Nursery Back to Top

    

Nursery (room 109): from birth to walkers, dedicated caregivers provide a loving, safe and clean atmosphere in which children can grow and begin to learn of the love of God.  

 

 

 

Toddler's and Two's Back to Top

    

  Toddler's and Two's (room L-1): Walkers to age three, God's love is planted in their lives with stories, songs, guided play, quiet times and lesson pictures.

 

 

 

 

Beginners Back to Top

   

Beginners (room L-3): Three and four year olds are taught biblical truths with a variety of simple, lesson-related activities like Bible stories, songs, games, activity centers and much more.  

 

 

 

Mother's Room Back to Top

   

Mother's Room (room 108): A private room provided for the comfort of nursing mothers.
